Cécile Davidovici is a French-Argentinian visual artist whose work explores how time transforms our relationship to images and memory.
Working across textile, embroidery and image, she builds her works through thousands of cotton stitches. This slow, repetitive process allows images to emerge while simultaneously fragmenting them, placing them in a fragile state between appearance and disappearance.
Originally trained in cinema and theater, Davidovici turned to textile art in 2018, where she discovered in embroidery a language capable of giving material form to the passage of time. Her works invite viewers to slow down and experience images not as fixed representations, but as something continuously reshaped by time.
Alongside her solo practice, she regularly collaborates with artist David Ctiborsky.
