Cécile Davidovici and David Ctiborsky have been collaborating since 2020. Their work unfolds between embroidery and digital 3D modeling, bringing together a tactile, ancestral technique and a constructed, immaterial one.
Their collaborative practice explores the evolving relationship between the organic and the artificial, the material and the simulated, and the interplay between deep time and the present. They construct visual environments shaped by slowness, ambiguity, and layered temporalities.
In 2024, they completed an artist residency at Sant’Orsola in Florence, where they developed a site-specific project that was installed in 2025.
